Job Summary

A software company has an open position for a Telecommuting Senior Software Sales Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Paying attention to relevant market trends and competition and leveraging this to advise the sales team
  • Communicating technical and product feedback needs of customers to product management teams
  • Performing documented discovery, solution validation, and standard and customized demonstrations

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Must be able to interact with customers and partners in-person and remotely
  • Prior SE/PreSales experience working in a sales environment or equivalent customer-facing experience
  • Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience working with products and related industry technology
  • Solid familiarity and experience working with the platform
  • Awareness of Cloud infrastructure, virtualization and container technologies, SaaS delivery models
  • Solid presentation skills and experience in the delivery of technical sales-oriented presentations
