Job Summary

A technology company has an open position for a Telecommuting Senior System Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Performing monthly Server Planning Sheet Technical Reviews
  • Reviewing disk space, memory, storage, and server performance
  • Assisting Data Center Manager in authoring requirements for IaaS and PaaS vendor contracts as directed

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Travel up to 14 days per year to the customer site
  • At least 5 years experience Platform as a Service (PAAS) architecture and solutions
  • At least 7 year's experience managing multiple enterprise technical environments.
  • Enterprise understanding of data center services
  • Competency in MS Word, MS Visio, MS Excel, and MS Sharepoint.
  • Bachelor's Degree (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted)
