Job Summary
A software company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting Senior Technical Editor.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Using our proprietary software to review our copywriters' email campaigns
- Performing line edits, where necessary, and provide writers with feedback on how to continue to improve
- Becoming an expert on our internal documentation and protocols
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 4+ years working in a SaaS or other technology company either in engineering or in a customer facing role
- 3+ years experience copyediting, creating content or managing content creation for B2B sales or marketing organizations
- Comfortable using Slack, Google Docs, remote conference software
- Availability and capacity to turn around projects quickly and on short notice (~24 hours)
- This is a contract/freelance role, but there are potential opportunities for full-time employment (even remote), depending on performance.
