Job Summary

An IT company is filling a position for a Telecommuting Senior VDI Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and managing the patches and software for the VDI infrastructure
  • Providing architect and deploying new VDI implementations
  • Monitoring, maintaining, and providing tiered support for the GSA VDI Enterprise Infrastructure

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • 5 years of experience in engineering VDI solutions with VMware Horizon
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related discipline 5 years of experience; OR, High School equivalent and 9 years of experience
  • Working knowledge using and configuring Windows Distributed File System
  • Experience in designing, implementing and supporting VDI enterprise solutions
  • Strong experience with VMware App Volumes, Identity Manager, and User Environment Manager
  • Experience with VMware Horizon View, VMware vCenter, and Universal Imaging Utility
