Job Summary

A software company has a current position open for a Telecommuting Software Sales Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Build demo solutions based on prospect requirements
  • Convey technical details to non-technical audience
  • Understand and address user requirements and their technical environments

Position Requirements Include:

  • Up to 50% travel depending on opportunity demands
  • A minimum of 3+ years of relevant sales engineering experience
  • Experience with Terminal Emulation software for traditional desktop and two-tier web-to-host browser access to back-end legacy systems
  • Experience with IBM i (AS/400), and IBM z (zOS) platforms
  • Ability to use conversion tools to demonstrate migration capabilities from incumbent Terminal Emulation solutions to successful functionality with Rocket's Bluezone solution
  • Proven track record as technical sales lead in software selling environment with proven sales success
