Job Summary
An information technology company has a current position open for a Telecommuting Solution Consultant.
Must be able to:
- Understand customers’ analytic goals and challenges through successful discovery
- Present and articulate the business value of the company platform to all levels
- Scope, build, and present custom demos and proof of concepts
Position Requirements Include:
- Able to travel as needed
- Familiarity with common RDBMS’ like SQL Server, Oracle, Teraradata, MySQL
- Experience with data modeling, ETL, and data warehouse concepts
- Experience with BI tools such as MicroStrategy, Business Objects, Qlikview, Spotfire, etc
- Experience in a comparable pre-sales position, supporting sales cycles selling BI or other high-value business solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on needs analysis, positioning, and business value identification
