Telecommuting Sourcing Manager

Job Summary

A travel company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommuting Sourcing Manager.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Negotiating critical program components based on knowledge of program requirements from initial request through contract completion and turnover
• Communicating with key business advisors and suppliers on a timely basis, information relative to strategic meetings management program operations
• Negotiating contracts between 50 - 100 programs worldwide on an annual basis

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Ability to travel by airplane, boat, rail and/or car
• Prior successful experience in developing and maintaining key client and supplier relationships
• Knowledge of travel supplier operations, overall capabilities/range of services
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project, event or meeting management, at least 2 of which are in procurement required
• Proven negotiation skills
