Job Summary
A company that offers educational services has a current position open for a Telecommuting Special Education Specialist in San Joaquin County.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Schedule and hold individual monthly phone conferences with the general education teachers
- Provide direct services (either via online classroom or in person) as needed to students
- Set up IEPs in online classroom, and follow up on attendees
Qualifications Include:
- Travel (rarely) to meet in-person for IEP meetings or other responsibilities, as well as, participate in-person for state testing
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong content and subject-matter knowledge
- Must hold a valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential Mild/Moderate and/or Moderate/Severe Disabilities
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook, PowerPoint
