A staffing agency needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting SQL Server Database Administrator in New York City.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Managing SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments
  • Configuring and maintaining database servers and processes
  • Applying data modeling techniques

Position Requirements Include:

  • 4-7 years MS SQL Server Administration experience
  • Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization
  • Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
  • Knowledge of High Availability and Disaster Recovery options for SQL Server
  • Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory
