Job Summary
A nonprofit organization is filling a position for a Telecommuting State Director.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Manage Fellows' work, including working group projects
- Deliver high-quality program content
- Lead partnerships, field-building, and advocacy
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Travel across the state
- An understanding of Mississippi's current state education policy landscape
- Ability to establish credibility easily with teachers, public officials, and media
- Strong project management skills and the initiative to complete tasks independently
- Experience managing and delivering innovative programs
- Comfort working in an entrepreneurial environment
