Job Summary
A humanitarian aid organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommuting Strategic Partnerships Senior Director in Chicago.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Tracking all aspects of major donor annual fundraising plans
- Leading development staff in the Chicagoland area and provide coaching and direct supervisory management
- Developing, coordinating and managing a defined portfolio of major donors within the larger major donor portfolio
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel regionally and across the states in the territory
- Demonstrated success in securing major gifts and cultivating relationships with major donor prospects
- College degree or commensurate work experience and a minimum of 5 years' experience in non-profit or academic major donor planning,
- Mature Christian with a commitment to leading a life in Christ and serving others
- Proficient with Windows-based word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email and the Internet
