A technology company has a current position open for a Telecommuting System Administrator in San Francisco.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist in building and maintaining our development, staging and production environments
  • Manage software deployments
  • Help mitigate security vulnerabilities and attacks

Position Requirements Include:

  • Work from home Fridays. Quarterly company retreats and volunteer days
  • Over 10 Years with Systems Administration
  • In depth familiarity with the AWS ecosystem
  • Ready to rock with Linux in multiple flavors (CentOS, Amazon, Ubuntu)
  • Experienced with automated deployment and configuration software (Chef, Puppet, Cloud Formation)
  • Able to administrate related software (Memcached, Varnish, MySQL, RabbitMQ, etc)
