Job Summary

A staffing agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommuting Technical Editor.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Writing, rewriting, editing, or proofreading technical manuscripts, promotional products
  • Reviewing published materials and recommending revisions or changes
  • Serving as a peer reviewer in the editorial process

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • At least 5 years' experience in technical writing or editing
  • Bachelor's degree or further in English, Technical Writing, Journalism, Communications, or related field
  • Experience using MMoS, AP, and Plain Language styles
  • Experience using SharePoint, Tridion, HTML code, Skype for Business including video conferencing, and Microsoft Outlook
  • Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Word and using styles and templates
  • Experience with web content and highly complex, integrated web parts
