Job Summary
A staffing agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommuting Technical Editor.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Writing, rewriting, editing, or proofreading technical manuscripts, promotional products
- Reviewing published materials and recommending revisions or changes
- Serving as a peer reviewer in the editorial process
Skills and Requirements Include:
- At least 5 years' experience in technical writing or editing
- Bachelor's degree or further in English, Technical Writing, Journalism, Communications, or related field
- Experience using MMoS, AP, and Plain Language styles
- Experience using SharePoint, Tridion, HTML code, Skype for Business including video conferencing, and Microsoft Outlook
- Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Word and using styles and templates
- Experience with web content and highly complex, integrated web parts
