Telecommuting Testing Program Psychometrician

Job Summary

An education company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting Testing Program Psychometrician.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Contributing to critical research initiatives in completion of the company's multi-year validation and psychometric research agenda
• Actively participating in the educational measurement professional community through presentations, publications, and conference attendance
• Supporting the needs of the Psychometrics team in the analysis and/or independent replication of core psychometric activities

Required Skills:

• Less than 10% of total time. Travel for this position will likely include two semi-annual team meetings, two semi-annual technical advisory committee meetings, and travel to national conferences
• Doctorate in Educational Measurement or equivalent
• Proficiency in statistical programming - SAS (preferred) or R
• Demonstrated experience with applying both item response theory (IRT) and classical test theory (CTT) methods
• Proficiency with industry standard measurement software (e.g., Winsteps, FlexMIRT)
• Advanced fluency in statistical programming in SAS or proficiency in both SAS and R
