Job Summary

A life insurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommuting Underwriter Consultant.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Underwriting individual life insurance applications up to $10 million face value
• Determining whether to accept, modify, or decline a risk
• Consulting with the medical department concerning any questionable medical or personal situations

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or 10+ years of life insurance underwriting experience
• 7+ years of experience minimum underwriting individual life insurance policies
• $3 million plus prior underwriting authority
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
