Job Summary
An insurance company is seeking a Telecommuting Underwriter II.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Selecting, classifying and rating risks appropriately, to ensure profitability
- Managing a large volume of submissions, renewals, maintenance transactions, phone calls and e-mail
- Soliciting customer feedback to improve service
Required Skills:
- May require some travel/overnight stays to other work or office locations
- Bachelor's degree, 2+ years' related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience underwriting property and casualty insurance
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
