Job Summary

An educational company is seeking a Telecommuting User Experience Accessibility Specialist.

Must be able to:

  • Provide code samples and suggestions in JavaScript and HTML/CSS
  • Review company web applications for accessibility
  • Organize requirements and work with developers to ensure that guidelines are followed

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Expert level knowledge of HTML, WAI-ARIA, and JavaScript
  • Detailed Understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act
  • Knowledge of accessibility-related software JAWS, VoiceOver, and NVDA
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with React.js, Angular.js, Other JavaScript frameworks, and Single page applications
