Job Summary
A user experience (UX) design firm has an open position for a Telecommuting User Experience Researcher in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Determining and executing the best method for evaluating and comparing user experiences
- Discovering the goals, needs, motivators, desires, pain points, influencers, limitations, strengths
- Designing and contributing UX knowledge to tactical, targeted application enhancement projects and long term vision
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree in User Centered Design, Human Computer Interaction, Cognitive Sciences, or related field; or equivalent experience
- Experience as a Business Analyst of MBA
- Thorough knowledge of user-centered design principles as well as usability research, theories and methodologies
- Strong active listening, presentation skills, and facilitation skills
