Job Summary
A healthcare company is filling a position for a Telecommuting Utilization Management Registered Nurse.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Recommending services for plan members utilizing care alternatives available within the community and nationally
- Identifying potentially unnecessary services and care delivery settings and recommending alternatives
- Conducting admission review, post-discharge calls and discharge planning
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Ability to travel 5% of the time
- Active RN license in the state(s) in which the nurse is required to practice
- Ability to be licensed in multiple states without restrictions
- Prior clinical experience preferably in an acute care, skilled or rehabilitation clinical setting
- Must have accessibility to high speed DSL or Cable modem for a home office
