Job Summary
A diversified health care company that serves the markets for health benefits and services worldwide is filling a position for a Telecommuting Utilization Review Nurse.
Must be able to:
- Perform utilization, concurrent review and discharge planning interventions using Milliman criteria
- Conduct clinical assessments via phone or fax
- Discuss cases with treating physicians and other healthcare professionals to better understand plans-of-care
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Active, unrestricted RN license in your state of residence
- 2 years experience in medical/surgical unit, or other clinical experience in an Acute Inpatient Rehab or Long Term Acute Care setting
- Proficient level of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer, with the ability to navigate a Windows environment
- Ability to prioritize well and perform in a fast paced, high caseload volume environment
