Job Summary

A mortgage company is filling a position for a Telecommuting VA LAPP SAR Underwriter.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Analyzing the credit-worthiness, collateral, accuracy of Total Scorecard
  • Reviewing loans and issue an underwriting decision in compliance with the relevant Agency
  • Being authorized to downgrade a loan to a Manual Underwrite, when required

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • MUST HAVE DE (CHUMS I.D)
  • VA / LAPP REQUIRED
  • A minimum of 3 Yrs. experience in FHA and Conventional Underwriting
  • Be actively underwriting FHA loans for the past 24 months
  • Be up-to-date with all relevant mortgagee letters, specifically ones released since 01/2008
  • All other requirements listed by the company
