Job Summary

An online university has a current position open for a Telecommuting Visiting History Professor.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the content and level of material included on exams correspond to the course terminal objectives
  • Utilize appropriate technological options for online technologies and course-related software
  • Set clear expectations for the course by publishing course terminal objectives

Required Skills:

  • A graduate degree in History, American Studies, or closely related discipline with 18+ graduate credit hours directly in History coursework is REQUIRED
  • Faculty must have requisite subject matter expertise and outstanding communication skills
  • Faculty must have excellent motivational and instructional skills in a diverse and non-traditional environment
  • Must be able to work in a collegial manner and facilitate the efforts of diverse groups
