Job Summary
A health-focused nonprofit organization needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting Volunteer Engagement Senior Director in New York City.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Creating a Board Excellence program that aligns with chapter manual and board scorecard
- Executing a volunteer training program for Foundation staff
- Developing policies and procedures that will sustain the volunteer engagement program
Position Requirements Include:
- Must be able to travel up to 25%
- Five to seven years in not-for-profit fundraising or association management
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Comprehensive knowledge of the processes and components necessary to build a robust volunteer program
- Experience in strategic planning and project management
- Proficiency in using Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
