Job Summary
A structural design company is in need of a Telecommuting Wall Panel Designer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Providing the designs and estimates on all assigned jobs
- Ensuring economical and proper use of materials according to current inventory levels and material costs
- Providing efficient, accurate and economical resolutions to customer complaints
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-year technical degree or applicable experience
- Minimum 2 years experience designing optimized projects utilizing Mitek and/or other design related software
- Basic CAD and drafting knowledge
- Assist in training and development of other designers as required
- General knowledge of construction industry
- Strong visualization skills, ability to picture complex conditions in wood structures from minimal information on plans and specifications
