Job Summary

A provider of online training in the IT field is filling a position for a Telecommuting Web Development Tutor.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Regularly review student exercises
  • Code reviews and check for fundamental understanding of concepts
  • Work with a mentor who will advise the student specifically on career-related topics

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • One or more years' experience in web development with Ruby on Rails and JavaScript
  • Strong knowledge of Web-Development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Ruby, and Ruby on Rails
  • A burning desire to help others grow and succeed
  • Deep understanding of industry best practices
  • Fluency in English
