Job Summary

A technology company has an open position for a Telecommuting Windows Enterprise Support Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Implementing system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system
  • Coordinating terminal orders, network system planning, upgrading, monitoring, testing, and servicing
  • Defining, designing, and implementing network solutions using the Windows system

Qualifications Include:

  • Must be able to perform customer visits both in the office and at customer locations
  • Expert troubleshooting of the Windows OS, IIS, SQL, and automation
  • Windows Operating System, Virtualization - VMWare, Clustering, and High Availability (HA)
  • IIS web servers, MS SQL database servers, Scripting languages and dev experience
  • Storage Technology- SAN, NAS, DAS, NetApp, Applications Servers, Mail (Mail Transfer Agents)
  • Networking Skills - Routing, Switching, Firewalls, Security, Load Balancing
