Job Summary
A technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommuting Windows SQL Administrator in Seaside.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Planning, installing, building, managing, supporting, configuring and testing server infrastructure components and connectivity
- Deploying new SQL Server environments in Production, QA and UAT environments
- Maintaining and managing SQL Server clustered environments
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems / Computer Science or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Minimum 5 years' proficiency in managing and administering Windows Server (e.g. 2008, 2008 R2)and hardware infrastructure
- 2-6 years of SQL Server Database Administration experience working with SQL Server 2005, 2008 or 2012
- Experience supporting SQL Server Environments for mission-critical, Production applications
- Experience performing MSSQL Server upgrades and migrations
- Certifications required by 8570.1 which may include Security+ or higher
