Job Summary

A technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommuting Windows SQL Administrator in Seaside.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Planning, installing, building, managing, supporting, configuring and testing server infrastructure components and connectivity
  • Deploying new SQL Server environments in Production, QA and UAT environments
  • Maintaining and managing SQL Server clustered environments

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems / Computer Science or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Minimum 5 years' proficiency in managing and administering Windows Server (e.g. 2008, 2008 R2)and hardware infrastructure
  • 2-6 years of SQL Server Database Administration experience working with SQL Server 2005, 2008 or 2012
  • Experience supporting SQL Server Environments for mission-critical, Production applications
  • Experience performing MSSQL Server upgrades and migrations
  • Certifications required by 8570.1 which may include Security+ or higher
