Job Summary
An information services and solutions company has a current position open for a Telecommuting Workday Payroll Administrator in Reston.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Designing and documenting setup configuration changes
- Performing Workday administrative functions including, but not limited to security maintenance, tenant configuration, data loads, and upgrades
- Ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, wage tax laws, segregation of duties, SOX, DOL, and other federal and state legislation impacting payroll
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Experience with Workday HCM and Payroll
- 5+ years hands-on payroll experience with multi-state and multi-company payroll, including Time and Attendance Management
- Organized and focused to drive meaningful results, process improvements, manage complexity, and meet operational deadlines
- Expert knowledge of payroll methods, touchpoints, end-to-end processing steps, best practices, and tax filing
- Exposure to Sarbanes Oxley control testing and documentation
- Up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local wage and hour laws
