Job Summary
Distance education company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommuting Writing Center Tutor and English Grader.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Evaluating writing assignments based on requirements and grading criteria
- Providing clear and effective feedback to students
- Supporting student writing across the curriculum
Qualifications Include:
- A master’s degree in English or a related subject
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office, database/web research, communication/presentation applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong decision making skills
- Ability to work independently within established policies and with regular direction from instructional staff
