Job Summary
A nonprofit higher education system is in need of a Telecommuting Writing Programs Instructor in Baltimore.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing timely feedback to students and their parents on coursework and progress
- Developing and teaching lessons within curriculum
- Providing students with appropriate assignments
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in English, Creative Writing, or Composition and Rhetoric is required
- Two years teaching experience in teaching composition or literature at either the college or secondary level
- Experience working with 9-17 age group and with gifted students from diverse backgrounds
- Must have a computer with broadband Internet access
