A nonprofit organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Youth Programs Writing Instructor in Baltimore.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Critiquing student writing
- Providing students with appropriate assignments
- Managing student behavior and discipline in the online classroom
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in English, Creative Writing, or Composition and Rhetoric
- Two years teaching experience in teaching composition or literature at either the college or secondary level
- Experience working with 9-17 age group and with gifted students from diverse backgrounds
- Must have a computer with broadband Internet access
