Telefundraising Representative

Job Summary

Passionate advocates will find a part-time remote opportunity as a Telefundraising Representative, responsible for fundraising on behalf of the ACLU by reaching out to previous supporters and inspiring them to contribute to civil liberties initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with past ACLU supporters to solicit donations, focusing on amounts of $5,000 or more
• Follow provided scripts to effectively communicate the ACLU's mission and inspire contributions
• Maintain a flexible schedule, committing to a minimum of 16 hours per week during designated shifts

Required qualifications

• Knowledgeable about current events and civil liberties issues
• Previous experience in sales or fundraising with a proven ability to close donations
• Proficient in using multiple software platforms and comfortable with technology
• Must have a computer or laptop with a headset and reliable internet connection
• Must be a US Citizen residing in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, or Illinois
