Telefundraising Representative - NY

Job Summary

To support the Guthrie Theater's fundraising efforts, the part-time Telefundraising Representative - NY will engage with patrons and donors through virtual calls, leveraging their fundraising and sales experience while working remotely from home.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct fundraising calls to existing patrons and lapsed donors without cold calling
• Follow scripts to effectively communicate and persuade potential donors
• Participate in feedback sessions and training to enhance call quality and productivity

Required qualifications

• Previous fundraising or sales experience required
• Background in the Performing Arts is highly preferred
• Must have a desktop or laptop, high-speed internet, and a headset with a microphone
• Ability to work 16 hours per week during specified hours
• Must reside in one of the eligible states: NY, NJ, CT, MA, or IL
