Telehealth Coding Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Telehealth Coding Coordinator, responsible for ensuring appropriate coding for telehealth consultations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze medical records to determine appropriate charge and modifier assignments
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and ethical standards set by relevant organizations
• Maintain expert knowledge of telehealth regulations across multiple states

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Five years of coding experience in a medical setting, with preference for telehealth claims
• Relevant certification such as CCS-P, CPC, RHIT, or RHIA preferred
• Knowledge of CPT and HCPCS coding, along with medical terminology
• Proficient computer skills and ability to meet deadlines consistently
