Telehealth Physician - Weight Management

Job Summary

Seeking board-certified Physicians (MD or DO) for a part-time, fully remote Telehealth Physician - Weight Management role, where they will conduct clinical evaluations, prescribe GLP-1 medications, and collaborate with a registered dietitian team to manage weight management patients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous telehealth evaluations for new GLP-1 patients, assessing eligibility and treatment goals
• Prescribe and titrate FDA-approved GLP-1 medications while managing follow-up visits and side effect counseling
• Participate in clinical reviews and quality improvement initiatives to enhance the prescribing experience

Required qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited U.S. medical school; board-certified in a relevant specialty
• Active, unrestricted medical licenses in a minimum of 30 U.S. states; IMLC enrollment preferred
• Minimum 3 years of post-residency clinical experience in managing obesity or metabolic syndrome
• Proficiency in EHR platforms and comfort practicing in a fully remote environment
• Active NPI and professional liability insurance covering telehealth encounters
