Telehealth Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To provide comprehensive care for children and adults with eating disorders, the full-time Telehealth Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct psychiatric assessments, manage medication, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and ongoing medication management for patients with eating disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions
• Implement medication treatment plans and evaluate medical risks associated with eating disorders within a telehealth setting
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, dietitians, and mentors, to support patient recovery

Required qualifications

• Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
• Active license to practice in relevant states or willingness to obtain additional licenses
• Experience treating patients with eating disorders and related psychiatric conditions
• Commitment to providing evidence-based care and professional development
• Ability to engage effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
