Telehealth Psychiatrist

Job Summary

To support a growing telehealth initiative, the contract Telehealth Psychiatrist will conduct brief intake visits, evaluate patient needs, and collaborate with a team to enhance care for Medicare-aged patients in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations with patients to assess behavioral health and advocacy needs
• Oversee patient care plans in partnership with healthcare advocates, addressing social determinants of health
• Collaborate with the technology team to develop AI tools that enhance the clinical experience

Required qualifications

• Board certification in adult psychiatry
• Active membership in IMLC with 50 state registration (preferred)
• Prior experience working with Medicare patients
• Proficiency with EMRs, care management platforms, and telehealth workflows
• Prior experience delivering care via telehealth
