Job Summary
Managing the health of a client tracking ecosystem, the full-time Telemetry Operations Manager will oversee tag operations, monitor telemetry data, and support client onboarding remotely while ensuring compliance with data governance standards.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain tracking configurations across 100+ client sites, ensuring efficient administration and accurate data collection
- Serve as the primary responder to telemetry issues, debugging conversion failures and coordinating with development contractors for code-level resolutions
- Support the technical onboarding of new clients by configuring tracking instances and documenting tagging setups
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of hands-on digital analytics or tag management experience
- Strong working knowledge of Google Tag Manager and web analytics platforms like Piwik PRO or GA4
- Ability to debug tracking issues using browser developer tools
- Experience managing multiple client contexts simultaneously with strong documentation skills
- Clear written communication skills for explaining technical findings to non-technical teammates and clients
