Job Summary
A company in the healthcare industry is looking for a Telephonic Nurse Case Manager.
Position Responsibilities
- Perform 3-point contact on new files and review all medical correspondence and provider reports to determine work status of injured workers or patients
- Communicate with claims examiners regarding directives and provide updates on file status
- Analyze collected data to determine problems, strengths, and needs of the patient and discuss the comprehensive plan of care with the insurance representative prior to implementation
Required Qualifications
- Certified Case Manager (CCM) Certification
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in California
- Experience in Critical Care or ER
- Working knowledge of Workers Compensation experience health and welfare
- Two-year experience as a telephonic case manager
