Telephony Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Telephony Engineer responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of telephony infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain FreePBX and Asterisk PBX systems
• Design and implement scalable VoIP solutions aligned with organizational needs
• Monitor and troubleshoot telephony systems to ensure optimal call quality

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with PBX, VoIP, and IP telephony systems
• Strong understanding of Asterisk-based platforms, particularly FreePBX
• Extensive knowledge of Telecommunication and Computer Networks (TCN)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
