Telephony Engineer
Job Summary
To support the expansion of the team, the full-time Telephony Engineer will design and modernize telephony infrastructure, integrate with telecom providers across various regions, and optimize resources while working remotely in Europe.
Key responsibilities
- Design and modernization of the telephony infrastructure
- Integration with telecom providers in the US, LATAM, and Europe
- Building call handling systems from scratch for both outbound and inbound traffic
Required qualifications
- 5 to 10 years of experience in VoIP and telephony engineering
- Deep understanding of SIP protocol and troubleshooting of signaling and media issues
- Experience with FreeSWITCH/Asterisk or similar technologies
- Strong Linux administration skills (Debian or Ubuntu)
- Solid understanding of networking, including TCP IP and RTP RTCP
