Telephony Engineer

Job Summary

To support the expansion of the team, the full-time Telephony Engineer will design and modernize telephony infrastructure, integrate with telecom providers, and optimize resources while working remotely across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Design and modernization of telephony infrastructure
• Integration with telecom providers in the US, LATAM, and Europe
• Building call handling systems from scratch for both outbound and inbound traffic

Required qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience in VoIP and telephony engineering
• Deep understanding of SIP protocol and troubleshooting of signaling and media issues
• Knowledge of FreeSWITCH/Asterisk or similar platforms, including dialplan development
• Strong Linux administration skills, preferably with Debian or Ubuntu
• Solid understanding of networking, including TCP/IP and RTP traffic analysis
