Telephony Engineer
Job Summary
To support a large-scale Avaya environment upgrade and datacenter migration, the full-time remote Telephony Engineer will research, audit, and clean up existing Avaya configurations while administering Avaya Aura Communication Manager and performing related voice engineering tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, audit, and clean up existing Avaya configurations, and cut them over to new and upgraded systems
- Administer Avaya Aura Communication Manager, including dial plans, route patterns, and trunk groups
- Program and maintain VDNs and vectors for call routing logic, and configure hunt groups and endpoint administration
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Avaya Aura Communication Manager (CM) 10.2 administration, including dial plans and route patterns
- Proficiency in VDN and vector programming for call routing logic
- Knowledge of hunt group and skill-split configuration and cleanup
- Experience with station/endpoint administration, including bulk moves/adds/changes
- Familiarity with translation backup/restore and Communication Manager version migrations
