Job Summary

A provider of cloud computing services is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Advisory Solutions Architect.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing expert technical leadership to customers and partners
  • Ensuring the successful architecture and deployment of enterprise grade PaaS solutions
  • Maintaining deep hands-on technical knowledge of PCF and Application infrastructure and architectures

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Eight years experience in customer facing datacenter architecture, delivery and operational services in Cloud IaaS environments such as VMware SDDC, AWS, GCE and OpenStack
  • Eight years experience in software development, including languages, systems and frameworks such as Spring/Java, Ruby/Rails, Go, messaging (RabbitMQ/AMQP, JMS), RDBMS, NoSQL and Hadoop.
  • Proven experience with PaaS offerings such as Cloud Foundry, Heroku, Elastic Beanstalk, or similar
  • Solid understanding of systems monitoring, alerting and analytics
  • Understanding of cloud application design principles
