Telugu Language Specialist
Job Summary
To enhance AI-generated Telugu content, the full-time hourly Telugu Language Specialist will review and create reference content, evaluate language quality, and provide precise feedback in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Review and quality-check translations of English science benchmark questions, focusing on accuracy and faithfulness to the source material
- Assess AI-generated corrections and provide brief review comments on translations while adhering to core guidelines
- Evaluate language outputs for accuracy, fluency, grammar, tone, and cultural appropriateness
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Linguistics, Telugu/English Literature, Communications, or a related field
- Native or near-native proficiency in Telugu, with strong professional proficiency in English (minimum C1)
- 3+ years of professional experience in writing, editing, localization, translation, or related language-focused work
- Deep understanding of Telugu grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style
- Prior experience with AI data training/annotation or translation QA is strongly preferred
