Temporary Accounting Associate

Job Summary

To support a special accounting reconciliation project, the temporary Accounting Associate will work remotely to research and resolve account discrepancies, review financial records, and reconcile account balances while collaborating with the accounting team during the project duration of approximately 3-4 months.

Key responsibilities

• Research and investigate accounting discrepancies through various communication methods and independent research
• Review historical financial records and reconcile account balances while identifying variances
• Document findings and communicate issues to management, supporting corrective actions and resolution efforts

Required qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
• Reconciliation and audit experience required
• Experience supporting month-end or year-end accounting activities
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• High school diploma required
