Temporary Accounting Supervisor

Job Summary

Providing transitional accounting and financial support, the part-time Temporary Accounting Supervisor will manage direct bill and agency bill transactions, oversee month-end close activities, and ensure timely premium payments while working fully remotely for up to 12 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory services to ensure timeliness and accuracy of direct bill and agency bill transactions
• Support month-end close activities including review of journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
• Prepare and submit aging schedules for outstanding balances and support audit requests as needed

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or a related field
• Experience with direct bill and/or agency bill transactions preferred
• Strong understanding of month-end close processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with AIM or similar agency management systems is a plus
