Job Summary

To provide title-level art direction and design support during a Senior Art Director's sabbatical, the temporary full-time Art Director will design covers and interiors for assigned titles, collaborate with stakeholders, and manage project timelines in a remote capacity for one month.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and art direct covers and interiors for assigned titles, ensuring alignment with imprint strategy
• Manage assigned title timelines and maintain communication with project stakeholders regarding status and needs
• Work closely with the Associate Creative Director to ensure consistency and smooth transitions during the sabbatical period

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in art direction and design, particularly in publishing or related fields
• Strong portfolio showcasing relevant design work and creative concepts
• Ability to collaborate effectively with editorial and design teams
• Experience in managing project timelines and coordinating with multiple stakeholders
• Familiarity with design tools and software commonly used in the industry
