Temporary Associate Carbon Credits

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Temporary Associate, Carbon Credits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Carbon Markets Initiative and CDR Initiative to design a carbon credit purchasing strategy
• Develop a perspective on diligence processes for different CDR pathways
• Investigate legal contracts and payments required for purchasing carbon credits

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree with 2+ years of relevant work experience OR graduate degree in applicable field
• Familiarity with carbon removal and different approaches
• Ability to work across multiple teams and disciplines
• Experience in engineering, environmental studies, finance, or business with a focus on energy and sustainability
• Strong task management skills
