Job Summary
Supporting the benefits team during a high-volume period, the full-time Temporary Benefits Administrator will manage employee inquiries regarding Qualified Life Events, facilitate leave of absence requests, and assist with open enrollment tasks in a remote capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist employees with Qualified Life Events (QLEs), coverage questions, and new hire benefits inquiries
- Facilitate employee leave requests with the LOA vendor, respond to inquiries, and update absence records in Workday
- Provide operational support during open enrollment, including employee communications and resource document updates
Required Qualifications
- Experience with benefits and leave administration; global benefits experience is a plus
- Hands-on experience with Workday Benefits and Absence modules is strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of HIPAA, COBRA, ERISA, and applicable state/federal leave laws
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Immediate availability is required, preferably located in Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zones
